Having an amazingly productive session this week and working in a very organic way, excuse the buzz terms. Rhythm section of drums, bass and guitar tracked together: drums mic’d in a relatively minimal manner to achieve a very girthy roomy sound. Spent the last day and have working through the guitars song by song with some great amps (vintage bassman and a modern hiwatt custom) and loads of fun effects. The aim is to get a similar vibe to crooked vultures/qotsa. I’ll start uploading some pics of the session now! X
